The Roofer Direct began in Atlanta, Georgia, which remains our national headquarters to this day. From that starting point, we grew into a company with locations across nine states, but our sense of home never became abstract. Every market we entered became a community we belong to, not just a territory we cover. We show up to neighborhood meetings, sponsor local causes, and get to know the streets we work on by name, because a company that only exists to sell roofs never really becomes part of anywhere.
When a storm tears across a neighborhood, it doesn’t pick and choose one house. It moves through entire subdivisions, entire towns. So when we talk about serving a community, we mean the whole area, not just the address on a single work order. That mindset shapes how we hire locally, how we treat our neighbors, and how we try to leave every town a little better than we found it.
Giving Back Through Roofs for Troops
One of the clearest ways we give back is through the Roofs for Troops program, offered in partnership with GAF. It provides a rebate on qualifying roofing systems for active-duty military members, veterans, reserves, National Guard, and first responders — the people who serve our communities every day, often while their own homes go unattended. Because we hold GAF Master Elite and President’s Club status, we’re able to offer this rebate to the people who have earned it, and we handle the paperwork so they don’t have to navigate it alone.
It’s a small way of saying thank you to the service members and first responders who make our communities safer, and it reflects something we believe: that a company rooted in a place has a responsibility to look out for the people who protect it.

That’s why one of the ways we give back is by supporting His Way Atlanta, a Christ-centered recovery program helping men break the cycle of addiction and return to their families, careers, and communities whole.
We’ve seen firsthand how a single storm can affect an entire neighborhood, but addiction moves through families and communities in a similar way — quietly, and often for far longer. Supporting an organization built around reclaiming, rebuilding, and restoring lives is one more way we try to invest in the towns we serve, not just the roofs over them.

Storm restoration is where our commitment to community shows up most visibly. When severe weather passes through, we don’t wait for the phone to ring — we move in to help homeowners assess the damage together, neighborhood by neighborhood. High winds and hail can leave dozens of homes in a single community with hidden damage that won’t surface for weeks, and we would rather be present and proactive than let people navigate that alone.
Our Licensed Adjusters keep insurance companies honest during that process, making sure the people in our communities get their homes repaired the right way, not just patched up to the minimum. Across Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Peachtree Corners, and Johns Creek, GA — and every other community we serve — this is how we try to earn trust that outlasts any single job.
